Premier Girls Hockey League
The Premier Girls Hockey League (PGHL) was established in early 2025, to promote Girls Tier 2 hockey throughout Illinois and the surrounding states. The Mission of the League is to promote the growth and development of girls hockey through the creation of a safe, fun, and well-organized girls hockey league. In addition, our mission is to facilitate competitive opportunities for teams of similar age and skill levels.
League members all foster and promote programs that advance the principles of improving the sport through the spirit of balanced competitive play, development of character and true sportsmanship.
The PGHL is affiliated with USA Hockey and the Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois (AHAI). Membership in the PGHL is available to sanctioned USA Hockey associations and their affiliates that meet the leagues eligibility requirements.
